How I help build operations that work

Transformation shouldn’t just make things faster – it should make work better. I combine operational expertise with pragmatic change, so technology works AND teams thrive. The best technology implementations mean nothing if people don’t understand why they’re doing it. I believe that transformations should be operationally excellent AND organizationally energizing. Where efficiency enables people to focus on what actually creates value.

This is the Twin Transformation Method: Fix the operations. Enable the people. Create impact that lasts.

Twin Transformation

Twin Transformation method

Most transformations fail because they treat organizations like machines: fix the parts, press the button, done.

But organizations aren’t machines. They’re ecosystems of people, processes, and technology – and transformation only works when all three move together toward something meaningful.

My method balances three layers:

  • Strategy (WHY) – What’s the purpose? What impact are we creating?
  • Operations (HOW) – How do we fix systems, data, processes to enable that?
  • Leadership (WHO) – How do we equip people to drive and sustain this?

The result? Transformation that doesn’t just work technically – but lands organizationally and creates lasting value.

Three dimensions that make transformation work

I’ve seen too many transformations that were technically flawless but organizationally dead on arrival. Systems worked. Processes optimized. But six months later – adoption below 30%, teams exhausted, leaders losing faith. What was missing: Purpose. Alignment. People who understand why it matters. That’s why my method addresses all three dimensions – because skip one, and transformation becomes often meaningless.

1 - Strategy (WHY)

CREATE CLARITY ON PURPOSE AND PRIORITIES

The core question: Why are we really doing this? Not “the board said so” – but what positive change are we creating?

What I assess:

  • What’s the burning platform or strategic ambition?
  • Is the business case about long-term value or short-term pressure?
  • Are business and IT aligned on outcomes?
  • Does the culture support change – or will blockers kill it?
  • Can people connect their work to the bigger purpose?

What I deliver:
Strategic assessment + priority roadmap + leadership alignment workshop

Outcome: Transformation with a why people can rally behind. Clear priorities everyone commits to.

2 - Operations (HOW)

FIX SYSTEMS, DATA AND PROCESSES

The core question: How do we create operations that enable people to do their best work – not drown them in complexity?

What I assess:

  • Where are systems, data, processes creating friction?
  • Are people spending 60% of their time on manual workarounds?
  • Can we simplify before we automate?
  • Is your data ready for AI and automation?
  • Will this make work better – or just faster?

What I deliver (examples):
Value chain maps, architecture diagrams, sprint plan, agile delivery approach

Outcome: Integrated systems. Trusted data. Streamlined processes. Foundation for smart automation.

3 - Leadership (WHO)

EQUIP PEOPLE TO DRIVE CHANGE

The core question: How do we create an environment where people feel ownership, not obligation?

What I assess:

  • Are leaders creating space for teams to learn and experiment?
  • Do people understand how their work contributes?
  • Are teams empowered – or just executing orders?
  • Can people sustain this after consultants leave?
  • Is there psychological safety for honest feedback?

What I deliver:
Leadership coaching track + team capability building throughout program + knowledge transfer, governance design support

Outcome: Leaders who inspire. Teams who own the change. Capability that lasts beyond the project

The Story Behind Twin Transformation

When I wrote my MBA thesis on Twin Transformation, I explored how digital and sustainable transformations could work together instead of competing for resources. What I kept seeing in practice: organizations treat these as separate tracks. Digital team here. Sustainability team there. Change management somewhere else. Everyone working in silos, wondering why transformation feels so slow. Then it clicked: What if “twin” means seeing the connections? Supply chain transparency for circularity also enables better planning. Clean data for ESG reporting also powers AI. Systems that improve efficiency also reduce waste. And when teams co-create solutions instead of receiving them, adoption accelerates.

That’s Twin Transformation. Digital, sustainable, and human – integrated from the start. Not more work. Smarter work that delivers multiple goals simultaneously.

Why this method works

BALANCED

Transformation isn’t tech OR people – it’s tech AND people working together. I fix fragmented systems while building engaged teams. Remote efficiency combined with face-to-face connection when it matters. Because sustainable change needs both.

Pragmatic

Meaningful doesn’t mean slow. I deliver working solutions every 8 weeks – integrated systems, clean data, trained teams. No 200-page vision documents. Just tangible progress that builds momentum and proves transformation actually works.

SCALABLE

Start with a Diagnostic. Scale to Sprint or MVP. Grow into a complete Transformation. Or combine with ongoing Sparring Partner support. Modules can be taken individually or integrated into a complete journey based on your needs and readiness.

SUSTAINABLE

Results that last require building internal capability. I transfer knowledge, coach leaders, empower teams – so you can sustain and evolve independently. Plus: digital efficiency and sustainable operations (circular processes, reduced waste, ESG transparency) reinforce each other.

IMPACT

The impact of meaningful transformation

When you fix operations AND enable people toward a shared purpose, transformation delivers value on three interconnected fronts:

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

Integrated systems (PLM, ERP, planning, platforms). Clean, trusted data. Streamlined processes. Smart automation and AI where it adds real value. Measurable results: 20-30% inventory reduction, 15-25% service improvement, 40% faster integration delivery.

ORGANIZATIONAL ENERGY

Teams that understand why transformation matters. Leaders equipped to navigate complexity. Reduced transformation fatigue through quick wins. Higher job satisfaction from doing meaningful work - not just surviving change. Adoption rates increasing from 25% to 70%+.

SUSTAINABLE OUTCOMES

Circular product lifecycles. Transparent value chains. ESG reporting that's actually accurate. Reduced waste and carbon footprint through operational efficiency. Because when operations work smoothly, sustainability becomes possible - not just aspirational.

Together, these create transformation that’s not just efficient – but meaningful. Operations that work better. Teams that feel energized. Impact that lasts – for business, people, and planet.
